As part of the CDC-funded Building Trust and Confidence Through Partnerships grants program, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, has partnered with community organizations, including the Pandemic Project, to produce vaccine education materials and host community events.
In this video, we feature one such event, CARE Hub, which offered health screenings, giveaways, and activities for children. We also spoke with Pandemic Project lead Jacqueline Borrero, as well as Albert Einstein pediatrician Brenda Anosike, MD, MPH, and grants coordinator Taylor Gordon about the importance of community partnerships when it comes to increasing pediatric vaccinations.
